The Lodge at Old Trail opened in May of 2012 and offers Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care residences in a rustically elegant setting just 12 miles from historic Charlottesville, Virginia.
The Lodge at Old Trail is graciously decorated yet informal enough to feel comfortable and inviting. Designed with hospitality in mind, the great room and dining room provide gathering areas for residents and their guests.
Other features include a library of current and classic literature, a private dining room for small events and a space large enough for grand social occasions. There’s even a dance floor.
A favorite spot is Gregg’s Pub. Friends meet for a cocktail before dinner or to enjoy a glass of wine while challenging a neighbor in a chess or backgammon match. When the weather is nice the patio is a preferred spot for lunch alfresco or a sunset happy hour. The Lodge is proud to feature a selection of wines from the nearby King Family Vineyard as part of our “fresh and local” food and beverage program supporting local growers and producers.
For many of us, home includes a beloved pet. All are welcome at the Lodge. If you prefer the great outdoors, there are miles of walking trails, a community garden, and 60 acres of park land just outside the front door.
Residents will also enjoy our full-service salon, well-equipped fitness room and underground garage parking.
