living at the glebe I like to tell people is like living on a cruise ship it's just a wealth of things to do I thought what I retired I'd be able to just sit back and relax but when you retire you don't do that that's what's great about it is there's choices for everybody and you pick and choose what you want to do there are many and varied cultural opportunities at the Glee lot of music lot of dancing just all kinds of entertainment that you can get anywhere else you can get it right here the conductor of the rural Symphony is out here a couple times a year we have artists many many residents are artists they take classes which our resident artists volunteer and teach they do have an art club here and I've never painted before my live except a barn and I got in and I had done for painting so far I'm really enjoying it and everybody's good liars or any of they all say they look nice you can stay busier here than any place I've ever been gonna clean it was the community we had any cancer walk here in about three weeks ago we have been we raised a bunch of money for that I think they raised dollars just for Saturday night walking the residents in glebe that I can put that in one sentence this is my family come on Evelyn throw it that a girl when they great life in abundance is enjoyment satisfaction being happy being healthy and hopeful and the glade gives me all those feelings you

I'll tell you what my daughter told me when I moved in she came for dinner and she looked around and I took her everywhere to show her all that was available and we came back and sat down at dinner and she said you know what mom you live in adult disney world and that just been her saying ever since the glebe food is some of the finest i think you'll find the glebe does do a nice job with the food and on sundays especially they have a wonderful buffet and a lot of people come from the community to have they have the buffet on sunday with friends here anything you want their cook can make it in is really really good first class everyone is talking and eating and laughing and it's just one like one big party and as they serve it in such an elegant dining room that it makes it a good experience the staff at the glebe that's that they are wonderful they're they're very caring and kind and friendly all you gotta do is sad like have some more of so and so and a little young people just bring it right on out the dining room wait staff at the gleam are just you just can't help but love them I mean it's like having your grandkids weight on it so if you can't find something to fill you up you in her own place or you're not owning the first place the food is great you do a good job you you
