Ginter Hall South is a magnificent assisted living community in North Chesterfield, Virginia. It is within impressive Chesterfield County which is part of the Old Dominion State.

Since we opened our doors to the Richmond area in 1975, we have worked hard to make each day an opportunity for our residents to live life to the fullest. Guided by our founding principles of service, compassion, and fulfillment, we have made it our mission for over four decades to provide Richmond’s senior community with assisted living and memory care services of the highest caliber.

We understand that each senior and their family comes to us with their own set of individual needs and preferences and we work to address those needs and preferences through attentive interaction and service. We assist the resident as they meet other seniors who reside at the community and transition into daily life here at Ginter Hall South. We consider ourselves part of an extended family and our Richmond community as a place of common understanding where seniors can enjoy each day fully, knowing they have a helping hand if and when they need it.

We provide housing, housekeeping, maintenance, meals, snacks, and scheduled activities, which creates a caring, monitored environment for our senior residents and peace of mind for family members. We offer medication management programs, personal shoppers, and medical professionals who will work with our residents when requested to ease the caregiving load often provided by the resident’s family members. In every service provided we strive to preserve our resident’s dignity, promote compassion, and assist each individual with the respect he or she deserves.

Ginter Hall’s Assisted Living Programming provides seven Levels of Care designed to meet each Resident’s individual needs and can be adapted as the Resident’s needs change.

The assisted living services include individually climate controlled studios, daily housekeeping services, beauty and barber services, three meals served daily designed with senior’s health in mind, as well as a wide selection of weekly activities and optional outings to keep our residents healthy, happy, and active.

Our caregivers are also ready to address any of our senior’s unexpected needs or emergencies. We have physicians, dentists, podiatrists, optometrists, hearing specialists, and therapists to provide on-site medical services. We also have available personal shoppers when needed for resident errands and we offer both furnished and unfurnished studios.

For seniors who require additional care, we offer assistance for Activities of Daily Living.  This caregiving approach allows an assisted living resident greater confidence and the ability to spend more time socializing with other seniors and participating in daily activities.  Our moderate care level includes daily senior needs such as dressing, bathing, grooming, and dining, as well as ambulatory assistance for senior residents with mobility challenges.

For every resident in our assisted living community, we generate individualized care plans that deliver the elevated assistance needed without minimizing the resident’s self-reliance. These individualized care programs help our caregivers preserve each resident’s confidence and dignity as we provide the appropriate level of care to meet their specific needs.

The Associates at Ginter Hall South are key to the quality care we offer our residents. One of our managers has been with Ginter Hall South for over thirty years. A number of other associates have been with the community for more than ten years.
