The Village at Manorcare

The Village at Manorcare is located in Henrico’s Lakeside area, just minutes away from the Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens and Joseph Bryan Park. The Village at ManorCare offers personal care for individuals who may require some assistance with their daily living, but who do not require the full services provided in our adjoining skilled nursing center. 

We recognize residents have their own individual routines and interests, capabilities and needs. To accommodate their individuality, we begin with an assessment by one of our professional staff members and develop an individualized service plan which is regularly adjusted to meet any changes in the resident’s routine or condition.

Personal Care Services

• Personal hygiene
• Bathing
• Dressing and undressing
• Mobility—help with walking, transferring from bed
• Toileting
• Schedule Housekeeping and linen/laundry service, or use our
• laundry facilities

Health Services

• Monitoring—blood pressure, vital signs, weight, etc.
• Responding to and treating health problems
• Assisting with medications
• Assistance in arranging medical care, including physical rehabilitation
• services available
• Family physician on-site one day a week

Respite Care

• We provide fully furnished suites, complete with hotel-style amenities, for short-term respite stays for those who might be transitioning from the hospital or a nursing center to home. This program is also available for vacation stays or for trial accommodations to determine if you would like to make your home here.

Recreational and Social Services

Food Services

• Three meals per day and snacks
