With the launch of Bay Vista Commons, the Bremerton Housing Authority set to meet a new era of community needs by creating a one-of-a-kind housing solution for seniors in Bremerton and the greater West Sound region. This campus is a model that is being observed nationally for its unparalleled commitment to access, financial security, and quality for seniors from multiple resource backgrounds. It was an honor for Martha & Mary to join the mission of this campus in 2012 by providing management services and exceptional care to the families that have chosen to call Bay Vista Commons home.
Martha & Mary SENIOR LIVING offers flexible, high quality living communities for seniors throughout the West Sound region. SENIOR LIVING is an important part of our family of services. Our SENIOR LIVING options include independent, assisted living, and memory care and are currently located in Kingston, Poulsbo, and Bremerton, Washington. Our residents enjoy the value, quality, security and range of affordable options available to them. In 2012, Bay Vista Commons became part of the family of senior living communities managed by Martha & Mary SENIOR LIVING. Completed in 2007, Bay Vista Commons is a unique facility that is the first of its kind in the State of Washington. It is a senior living alternative that provides top of the line service to individuals of all economic backgrounds. The idea for Bay Vista Commons grew out of Bremerton Housing Authority’s quest to expand its services for seniors and create a senior campus that provided a community for seniors to age in place and with dignity.
Bay Vista Commons is designed with comfort, convenience and safety in mind. We strive to provide each resident with support and individualized care in a home like setting. Our common areas include a communal dining room, a private dining room, an large activity room, a comfortable living room, a television room, numerous sitting areas, and a library.
Bay Vista Commons offers care for seniors who value their independence, yet need some assistance with daily activities. Each day three homemade meals are served in a restaurant-style dining room and snacks are offered throughout the day. Weekly housekeeping, linen and laundry services are also available. Our community is completely maintenance free for residents, inside and out. Our apartments were designed with safety in mind featuring large walk-in showers with grab bars and ample space for walkers and wheelchairs.
To give you additional peace of mind, we have emergency call bracelets available to residents, making emergency help available 24 hours a day. Our nursing department provides assistance with personal care, medication management and timely assessments designed to optimize your well-being. We partner with local physicians to provide in-house medical appointments, physical, occupational, and speech therapy. We also offer hospice and palliative care programs to meet your individual needs as well. Pharmacy services are also managed in-house by partnering with pharmacies at your discretion.
Residents at Bay Vista Commons have the opportunity to make new friends and enjoy various activities. Our diverse recreational and educational activities program is available throughout the year. We strive to cater to a wide range of interests so our residents are certain to find activities appealing to their unique tastes.
Need to celebrate a milestone birthday or anniversary with family and friends? We offer catering services for special occasions. Residents can reserve the private dining room or invite family and friends to dine with them in our restaurant-style larger dining area.
