With glistening Lake Washington to one side, majestic Mount Rainier on the other, and gorgeous gardens in between, The Lakeshore offers a picturesque setting for retirement living. You’ll be warmly welcomed by a diverse group of residents and caring staff who will make you feel right at home.
Warmth and energy set the tone at The Lakeshore. Many times, our residents know each other from the neighborhood, or they have worked together in area schools or at Boeing. In fact, on many community tours, someone will recognize a friend living here. The Lakeshore is a retirement community where everyone knows your name – and your children’s and grandchildren’s names too. It’s this spirit that makes so many newcomers and long-time residents feel right at home.
We offer two types of senior living options, independent living and assisted living care, in our 158 senior apartments.
With independent living, you get the freedom from the burdens of home ownership and the benefits of the retirement community, including fine dining, regular social interaction as desired, and enriching activities. While you have the support of the community, you are living completely independently in your apartment home.
At Era Living communities, if and when you need more help, assisted living services will come to you in your original apartment. With assisted living, you can receive help with various activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, or managing your medications.
While we offer plenty of social activities, our in-home assisted living services provide the peace of mind that you can get help with activities of daily living when you need it-- in your original apartment home. And because of our unique partnership with the University of Washington School of Nursing, residents benefit from innovative wellness and active aging programs.
Our Community Health Director and supporting team provide professional and compassionate assisted living services in the privacy and comfort of your own apartment home.
In addition to ongoing case management, our team will work with you to develop a holistic, individualized care and wellness plan. We offer an extensive range of services*, including:
