Invite Your Doctor to Make "House Calls"
We encourage you to invite your doctor to visit you at Dove Healthcare - Rutledge Home, especially for those residing in the Memory Care. As you know or can imagine, the process involved in getting to and from a medical appointment at a clinic can often be difficult and overwhelming, especially for those with dementia. On-site visits at Dove Healthcare - Rutledge Home are typically less stressful for the resident and can provide the physician a true look into the daily life and needs of their patient. We have several residents seen routinely on-site by an internal medicine physician, and the response and feedback from the residents, their families, and our staff is overwhelmingly positive!
Pharmacy Services
Your pharmacy needs will be managed by our RN. She will work directly with your primary physician to ensure your medication regimen is both safe and effective. Our pharmacy consultant conducts regular safety reviews of your medications.
Foster Your Inner Strengths. Find Hope and Peace.
Understanding the changes in your life and how they relate to your spiritual and emotional well-being can be challenging. We encourage you to continue involvement with your own church or worship center and receive visits from your clergy. Communion and rosary are offered weekly and a non-denominational service is provided three times a month.
You Have a Voice
You have the opportunity to express your preferences, concerns, and opinions. Our staff is available everyday to meet with you. The monthly Resident Council meetings are another opportunity to offer suggestions. The council gives you the opportunity to participate in the affairs within our facility, make suggestions for improvements, and develop friendships.
Pets Welcome
Pets provide a great therapeutic benefit. Your family or friends may bring in pets when they visit if the animals are supervised and well-behaved at all times. Vaccinations must be current.
