Touchstone of Mayville is a Community Based Residential Facility licensed by the State of Wisconsin, serving those with Traumatic Brain Injury, Developmental Disabilities, Physical Disabilities, Alzheimer’s and Dementia. Nestled in a country like setting, we offer around the clock, certified staff that are trained to care for your loved ones. Resident centered care is very important to us, so we create an Individual Service Plan for each resident, allowing us to work together in reaching personal goals for every individual.
Our Class CNA licensing allows our residents to be ambulatory, semi-ambulatory or non-ambulatory, with a maximum capacity of 8 residents. A smaller setting allows our staff to easily attend to each residents needs on a one to one basis, while our attractive campus style living creates a homelike environment for our residents. At Touchstone of Mayville we enjoy continuing simple family traditions. Traditions that promote group activities, ensuring that everyone is part of the Touchstone family.
Touchstone of Mayville is a community leader for assisted living, and known for it's exceptional care. We provide four levels of care for our assisted living home residents. Levels of Care and certain criteria affect placement and admission status. Each potential resident will be assessed and categorized.
Life Enrichment activities help our residents lead a balanced life, and provide a sense of self-worth. Enrichment encourages residents to find expressive ways to communicate, through Arts and Crafts, Painting, Knitting, and Needle Point. Regular outings including: Bowling Trips and Movie Days, along with annual trips to the Zoo, Pumpkin Farms, Christmas Parties, and special events such as Parades, present the residents with unique opportunities to socialize within the community. Communicating and sharing ideas help personalities blossom, and grow relationships by building trust in new friends.
Learning is also a large part of our outings, and keeping a busy mind serves memory functions, helps ease anxiety and restlessness. New skills are learned through access to Day Programs, and Hobbies, while new facts are often shared through activities such as visits from local Pet Shelters. Along with Kindergarten Class Visits, Cooking, Gardening, and Music, residents can continue to enjoy their favorite activities from their past.
Touchstone of Mayville is located on Horicon St. which offers convenient access to local businesses, and helps to promote an independent lifestyle. We are conveniently located between the Kwik Trip convenience store, and the brand new Family Dollar shopping center, allowing easy access to shopping and personal needs. The local pharmacy is just across the street, and local restaurants, banks, and the downtown area are all within walking distance.
Touchstone of Mayville also features a paved walking path, for ambulatory and non-ambulatory residents alike, through our miniature apple orchard. Providing an excellent option for exercise and nature watching.
