Franciscan Villa’s Memory Care Program nurtures your loved one’s special needs due to Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of memory impairment with a holistic and person-centered approach to care. Our personalized approach focuses on who each resident is and the value each person holds, offering a window into the life of each individual. 

Our focus is on the advanced care necessary to meet the challenges of those experiencing some form of memory loss. Each private suite is designed with the philosophy that this is home. We encourage families to personalize each suite with items that stir happy moments and special remembrances for their loved one.

Francis House is Franciscan Villa’s 64-unit memory care assisted living facility. It is well regarded as a safe and comfortable haven for those with mid– to late-stage Alzheimer’s and dementia. With its secure and enclosed outside courtyards, Francis House offers peace of mind to family and friends while its neighborhood design with home-like atmosphere minimizes challenges and stress for residents.

In addition to the beautiful memory garden, Francis House offers an exclusive dining room and activity center allows residents to interact with caregivers and others in a private environment. Residents enjoy the freedom to move about while remaining safe as they do so under more intensive personal care and closer supervision.

Our specially-trained caregivers and staff members work closely with residents’ physicians and families to provide compassionate care and personal care for your loved one. 

Our Memory Care Program Includes: 

•  Nursing supervision – 24 hours a day 
•  24-hour emergency response system 
•  Access to on-site nurse practitioner, personal care, and skilled nursing 
•  Priority access to higher levels of care

•  Individually-controlled heating and air conditioning 
•  Three home-like meals and snacks daily 
•  Weekly linen service, personal laundry, and housekeeping services 
•  Beautifully appointed chapel with religious services and spiritual education

•  One personal scheduled trip per month with friend or family member 
•  Cable, phone, and internet services 
•  Access to beauty and barber services 

Additional Services Included As Needed: 

•  Assistance going to dining room, activities, and other areas 
•  Assistance or supervision with bathing, hygiene, dressing, and grooming 
•  Reminders or assistance with incontinence or total help with toileting 
•  Assistance with meals 
•  Assistance with transfers in/out of bed and in/out of ambulation devices, such as wheelchair 
•  Medication ordering and administration
