Dream Home Assisted Living in Cross Lanes, West Virginia, is a newly constructed 9-bed facility with spacious private or semi-private rooms.
Dream Home is unlike other assisted living facilities in the sense that residents come ONLY with their luggage. The home of your dream provides phones for calls within the US, TV and cable, furniture, a full-size posturepedic bed, and refrigerator in each room. There are common areas such as our lovely dining room, conference room, and outside deck - which give residents and their loved ones the opportunity to get to know one another.
Dream Home provides memory care, pastoral service, 24/7 RN/LPN service with professional staff on duty, MD on call 24/7, onsite visiting schedule, individualized meals, and physical and occupational therapy on demand.
Dream Home will provide treatment and care in accordance with functional needs, assessment, and service plans to assist each resident to maintain the highest level of functioning.
The home will assist resident in making appointments for appropriate medical, dental, nursing, or mental health services as needed by the patient.
Dream Home Assisted Living is also equipped to care for patients with special needs, like dementia and Alzheimer's. Our staff will work with residents on memory care and activities.
Personal assistance to meet functional needs assessment, which may include: self-administering medically prescribed drugs and treatment, following any planned diet or rest or activity regimen, utilizing functional equipment (i.e. hearing aids, glasses, walkers, etc.), and performing any other activities of daily living.

All residents will be encouraged, guided, or assisted with arrangements to participate in social, recreational, diversional, vocational, religious, and other activities within the home. Referral services and opportunities will be posted for social, recreational and vocational activities within the community.
On a daily basis the facility will provide (3) meals served in the dining room. Snacks are also provided. Residents can choose to substitute their meals to eat what they like. We can accommodate special diets, including physician-recommended diets as outlined in the doctor's medical statement.
