At Southwestern Care, we hold a unique mission statement that truly sets our assisted living cottage apart from other types of assisted living environments: to create a warm and loving home environment for our residents and give their families peace of mind knowing their loved one is receiving the best assisted living health care possible.

We provide LIVE-IN Direct Care Providers to care for our guests which offer many advantages over a traditional assisted living facility. Our providers truly get to know each guest, providing continuity of care and greater overall awareness of health conditions and individual needs. Because these direct care providers are on site, they can easily recognize the slightest change of your loved one’s condition and promptly address any needs as they arise.

Because of our intimate setting we can spend more time with each of our guests and design a specific plan of care for each one.

Residents will enjoy a pleasant home-like environment with a shared dining room and home cooked meals. Our caregivers develop personal relationships with our residents. Currently, our home has a ten bed capacity which enables us to provide an excellent caregiver to resident ratio. It also allows us to maintain a pleasant and lively environment with other residents to give your loved ones added companionship. We offer a choice of private or shared bedrooms for additional flexibility.

Southwestern Care is a home first, where we also provide the quality care and loving environment that each resident needs.

We encourage our families to bring in all their mementos, keepsakes, and things that are most precious to them to decorate their rooms to taste as they would in their own home. Many guests will bring their favorite chair or recliner for the den, which is where most will spend their time. This is your Mom and/or Dad’s home and we are simply a guest in their home! At Southwestern Care, we strive to create a home environment for each resident and get it as close to how our guests lived with their own families, making it feel as cozy as possible. We do our best to create the right home environment for the right guest for the best possible fit.
