On any given day, you ll see our residents cooking in the community kitchen, playing bean bag toss or cornhole, socializing at parties and other get-togethers, reminiscing about the old days and enjoying music. Maybe you ll find them taking strolls in the courtyard, attending movie nights, snuggling up to a therapy pet or getting lunch at local restaurants, taking scenic drives or visiting local attractions, such as a nature preserve. Each of these enjoyable activities is part of a carefully designed care program to help our residents maintain current skills, improve cognitive functions and live their best life.

Because Brookdale Hampton Cove specializes in memory care, our cozy, comfortable single-level community incorporates special features such as easy-to-navigate floor plans and soothing wall colors so residents feel safe and not overwhelmed. Our home-like common areas, such as the fireside living room, bright and cheery sun room and community kitchen where residents can cook and bake with supervision, encourage socialization, comfort and relaxation. With monitored entries and exits and a large enclosed courtyard and garden, your loved one will remain safe while having a sense of freedom and independence.

Our apartments offer privacy and a quiet retreat where your loved one is surrounded by the comfort of his or her own familiar furnishings, family photos and treasured keepsakes. You can choose the apartment either a private or companion suite that best suits your loved one s needs from five floor plans, including studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites. Some have kitchens and all have large windows to allow in plenty of natural light.

Our memory care program is deeply rooted in a person-centered approach focused on creating feelings of belonging and purpose for your loved one, while seeking to preserve their identity and sense of self. With gentle guidance and visual reminders, we help them flourish in activities such as gardening, kitchen work and other projects that provide the opportunity to use meaningful life skills and talents even when dementia is advanced.

Our supportive dining environment encourages familiarity and socialization during mealtime. We keep mealtimes very routine for our residents to help alleviate any confusion or added stress. All residents sit together at the same time and same table each day and place settings enhance and provide ease for each person.
