Enter Elaine’s Forest House and you will experience the outdoors from the inside. Nature abounds within the home, featuring five fully-furnished tree-themed private rooms, each with their own special nature inspired décor. The house offers a holistic and healing environment. Gentle tones of healing music and a soothing fragrance of aromatherapy linger throughout. Surrounding the house are lush, peaceful gardens that bring about a calming effect to the residents and their visiting loved ones.
Elaine’s Forest House is fully staffed with 24-hour caregivers and all the services that hospice care offers. We provide a low patient-to-caregiver ratio for maximum attentiveness and care. Accommodations serve terminally ill patients who lack adequate caregiver resources in their own homes and need assistance as they make their end-of-life journey. Room and board are available on a sliding fee scale. Limited financial assistance is also available thanks to charitable contributions from the community.
Elaine’s Forest House is a collaborative effort between Northland Hospice, Northern Arizona Healthcare Foundation and Northern Arizona Healthcare. The Northern Arizona Healthcare Foundation served as the primary facilitator for a donation made by the Loven family to revitalize the house to its present condition.
