Karlton Residential Care Center is an extraordinary assisted living community in Anaheim, California. It is within storied Orange County which is part of the Golden State.

Located in North Orange County, administrators/owners, believe in fostering a sense of community by having an "open door", and are able to interact daily with all of their residents and families. A Licensed Professional Nurse is available seven days a week.

We are a licensed 76-bed care center. Our community has been designed for elderly persons requiring assisted living due to Alzheimer's Disease, Dementia, Memory Impairment and other related disorders. We offer a secure environment with two patios and walking paths for those who wander. The perimeter of our center is secured to provide personal freedom within our boundaries. Family owned and operated Karlton offers quality care and service.

Our friendly staff is specially trained to work with the complexities of Alzheimer's Disease, Dementia, and the Memory Impaired. On-going, monthly in-services are offered to continue to provide the highest quality of care. Assessments are done every three months to make sure our staff is able to meet the needs of our residents. Experienced programs are designed to deliver dignity, compassion and love to our special clients.

We have created a wonderful spacious environment allowing for safe wandering indoors as well as outdoors.

Karlton provides activity programs to our residents 7 days a week. We offer adult education teachers who come to Karlton weekly.

In addition, we offer other programs such as: playing trivia, reminisce, aromatherapy, pet therapy, sing-alongs, daily exercises, and weekly professional entertainers. Every third Friday of the month we celebrate our resident's birthday.

We offer large and small groups activities for residents who may require special sessions. Activities may vary for each resident based on his or her abilities and interests. Our families are encouraged to participate in our holiday celebrations and annual events which are held for our residents, their families, and friends.

Also, our outdoor patios serve as a pleasant picnic atmosphere for our residents and families who enjoy spending their time outdoors.

• Assessment and Reassessment every 3 months.
• We have a secured perimeter which allows residents to wander outside in our walkways freely and safely.
• LVN on staff and caregivers are given inservices every month by a licensed professional.
• 24-hour care and supervision.
• Wonderful activities 7 days per week, which also includes Adult Education.
• Our care includes bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, and incontinence care.
• Complete hair salon, daily laundry & housekeeping service, and central air conditioning/heating. Nutrionally balanced meals and special diets to accommodate their needs.
• Physicians, psychiatrists, dermatologists, dentists, podiatrists and PA (physicians assist.) visit our residents on a regular basis.
