Muriel's Residential Facilities were founded in 2000 to meet the needs of local families with elderly members who could no longer live independently at home. With the fear of leaving a beloved parent/relative alone, or “alone in the hands of strangers” in their homes, this created a real need for safe, dependable care in a loving, warm environment away from home.

Muriel’s Residential Facilities met these needs with such success that in a short number of years another home was added. Soon, even out of state residents began moving in, as delighted local families spread the word. Muriel’s opened up new horizons where the emphasis is on “True Caring.”

For our elderly residents, we provide a warm, safe, caring environment where all of their needs are met. We make sure our residents feel that they are living in a real home, and not in nursing homes, skilled nursing facilities, or state of the art SPA/Resort environment which will usually cost every family’s fortune. We provide loving assisted living care, at very reasonable rates while giving you more direct care supervision, and at the same time, respecting the individual privacy of our residents. For our residents' families, we are committed to alleviating the stress and doubt that is always associated with moving an elderly parent from home. The quality of our homes makes it easier for the families to feel that they are doing their best for their elderly parents or relatives, not that they are just "taking them out" of their homes.
