Ladera Vista is a spirited assisted living community in Los Angeles, California. It is within pleasing Los Angeles County which is part of the Golden State.

Our mission is to provide the highest level of care for our residents. We aim to please by offering rigorously trained staff, clean facilities, an abundance of activities and expert management. This "Mother and Son" ran facility boasts over 30 years of geriatric and hospice care experience with the presence of one of our administrators at least 20 hours per week.

We structure our program to provide engaging support and comfort for all our residents. With action plans catered to each resident, we aim to create and maintain a happy home for everyone.

From the moment we meet a potential resident, we begin a thorough evaluation covering mental and physical capacities, personality, medical condition, identifying potential benefits of adding the resident to our community, and much more.

Every resident of Ladera Vista needs an action plan. We encourage residents to remain active and reap all the benefits of their golden years. Frequent monitoring of your loved one's condition is key to improved health and maintaining an active lifestyle.

In some cases, Ladera Vista will send our caregivers to your home to care for your loved one. This may be the best fit for some families. Sometimes, residents that are cared for in their homes eventually move in to our facility on Sherbourne, or to one of the many facilities we place residents in at The Senior Care Company.

The standard services listed below are available to all residents at Ladera Vista. We base these services on each resident's pre-admission appraisal, subsequent reappraisals, required needs and service plan.

• 24-hour care/observation
• Weekly linen changes for the bedroom
• Daily housekeeping
• Fully furnished rooms, including: Bed, Closet, Nightstand, Bed linen, Chest of drawers, and Chair
• Well-balanced breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks
• Assistance with activities of daily living: Eating, Bathing, Dressing, Toileting, Transferring (walking) and Continence
• Medication management
• Activities to stimulate the resident, such as: Games, Barbecues, Birthday and holiday parties and Religious observances
• Care for residents with dementia
