My Mother's Place

My Mother's Place is a quaint assisted living community in Los Angeles, California. It is within astounding Los Angeles County which is part of the Golden State.

"My Mother's Place" offers both Assisted Living and Custodial Nursing Care in a private home surrounded by gardens. We are licensed to provide long term care for up to six ambulatory and non ambulatory residents at a time.

Our goal is to provide true "Long Term Care" in one place, from assisting residents with one or more of the activities of daily living, to the custodial nursing care and supervision required by advancing age and fragile health.  98% of the care typically given in Skilled Nursing Facilities is just "Custodial Nursing Care". We provide this same care for about one-half what skilled nursing homes charge. So if feeding tubes and IV's are not required, why pay skilled nursing home rates.

Most people want to age in their own home, rather than a "retirement home" or "nursing home". But when it's not practical to stay in your own home, why not make our home your home.  We are a HOME, not a “facility” on a busy street. We are located on a quiet, tree-lined street in a safe residential neighborhood where you can breath fresh air and sleep with your window open.

"My Mother's Place" is designed for comfort, staffed with love, and managed with care. Our live-in staff provides loving senior care, a safe clean care home, companionship, mental stimulation and wonderful food.

We understand that not one care plan fits all. Daily services can include anything from meal preparation, hygiene, cleaning, and supervision. We will take the time to get to know you and develop an individualized care plan that fits your specific needs.

Recovering at home setting after surgery can benefit  you with your daily activities. Whether you are recovering from major surgery, hip, knee and shoulder. our compassionate caregivers can assist you to a healthy and complete recovery.

Arthritis, physical disabilities, and age-related conditions are some of the few circumstances that prevent patients from caring for themselves. Our caregivers can assist you with daily tasks such as mobility, eating, exercising, and grooming.
