The new Annette Lodge will have a large, landscaped courtyard, with eight of the rooms facing the courtyard. The other six rooms will have lanai spaces, where residents can relax, and enjoy gardens and relaxing. All rooms will have easy access, and handicapped parking and access will be through private parking spaces in the alley. The front lobby will resemble an elegant hotel with street parking and downtown ambiance.
Annette Lodge rooms range in size from 355 square feet to the two room suites, which are about 680 square feet. Monterey and Mission Lodges rooms range in size from 333 to 365 square feet. All rooms have individual heating and air conditioning units, handicap accessible bathrooms, and showers, television, internet and WIFI connections.
All rooms have private baths, and most of the rooms are large enough to accommodate couples.
The rooms at Monterey and mission Lodge have vineyard views, and some feature views of the regions beautiful coastal mountains. Rooms have memory boxes, near doors, where residents can keep mementos, to help them recognize their rooms independently.
The Annette rooms look out at landscaped courtyards and lanais, and the Annette Lodge furnishings are in keeping with the historic theme of the facility.
Continental breakfasts are available for residents as well as 3 full meals a day and snacks. Coffee, tea and other refreshments are available for residents 24 hours a day. Food based activities, such as picnics on the patio, and holiday meals, help residents feel at home.
Activities are chosen to meet resident preferences and seasonal events. Families are encouraged to participate in the activities.
Families and residents at Annette Lodge can enjoy the beautiful downtown amenities of Paso Robles. Within walking distance there is a library, theater, restaurants, art galleries and wine tasting.
Licensed as Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly, all three lodges are able to provide support for all conditions allowed by the California Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing. Mission and Monterey Lodge provide dementia care. All three lodges provide medication management, and hospice services.
Guests needing licensed physical therapy or other services may receive those from a licensed Home Health Agency, while residing at any of the lodges.
Activities are tailored to each senior care resident’s needs and interests. Staff survey family and encourage resident input into the activity choices for all residents. Dementia care activities are also designed to meet the mental age and physical ability of our residents. Physical abilities are maintained by encouraging active indoor and outdoor games and interests. Dementia activities encourage sensory stimulation, reminiscence and communication. Senior care in wine country includes outings to enjoy such “country life” enjoyments as fall foliage tours, spring visits to see new lambs and calves, and simple drives through the wonderful wine country scenery. A large library of books, movies, games, puzzles and music is available at all three lodges. Families are encouraged to participate in seasonal activities, Mothers Day events, Fathers day events, and other holidays. Many other holiday events are planned for our assisted living guests and families. A small private dining room is available for private family occasions, and outdoor and indoor activity areas are also available for family groups with prior arrangement.
Activities take advantage of the beautiful Lodge patios, which provide quiet places to enjoy the beautiful Paso Robles weather. The large open courtyards shared by the Lodges residents, provides all senior care guests with ample walking and strolling space, and grass and plants to enjoy. A pondless fountain is available for soothing water sounds. The fountain also encourages bird watching with many bird varieties visiting our residential care facility.
