Welcome to Rose Senior Care, a family owned and operated six (6) bed Residential Care Facility for Elderly (RCFE), nestled in the outskirts of Porter Ranch. RCFE is the abbreviation for Residential Care Facility for the Elderly. It is also known as a Board and Care Home, Assisted Living, Residential Care Home, and Group Home. RCFE's are licensed by the Department of Social Services and are governed by a set of laws and regulations. RCFE's  are non-institutional, home-like settings that promote maximum independence and dignity for each resident and encourage family and community involvement.

Basic Services

• 24-hour care and supervision.
• Activity programs which includes Music and Pet Therapy.
• Monitor and observe for changes in physical, mental, emotional, and social functioning.
• Notification to resident’s family, physician, and other appropriate person/agency of resident’s needs.
• Three (3) healthy meals per day and in-between meal snacks.  Special diets easily accommodated.
• Plan and arrange for supportive services which includes transportation to medical and/or dental appointments and other health care services.
• 2 Hospice Waivers.
• Assistance with all personal activities of daily living such as: dressing, toileting, bathing, grooming, and other personal care needs.
• Basic hygiene items such as general use soap, toilet paper, toothpaste, Kleenex, shampoo, etc.
• Daily laundering of personal clothing, excluding dry cleaning and ironing.
• Clean bath linens daily and clean bed linens weekly, or as often as needed.
• Cleaning of resident’s room daily.
• Assistance with taking prescribed and over-the-counter medications & ordering refills.
• Access to facility phone for the purposes of making local and long distance phone calls and receiving phone calls. If the resident lacks the mental and/or physical capacity to dial a phone, facility will provide assistance.
• 2-4 Caregivers during the day; 1 Caregiver at night.
• Skype/ Facetime services
