Working together to create a sense of community, our dedicated and compassionate staff will strive to exceed your expectations and make a difference in the lives of those we serve by providing exceptional care and service, and remembering you are the reason we are here.
We never forget that you’re our valued guest, and the reason we’re here! We strive to make sure your day is filled with the caliber of service that makes you feel comfortable, safe, and — most importantly — at home. You’ll find the entire staff will know you by name, and each day when we greet you, we’ll ask you how you are, and whether there is anything we can do for you. If you have a special request, please don’t hesitate to ask. That’s why we’re here – for you!
We serve three meals a day in our restaurant-style eatery, The Lemon Street Café. Our chef is a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu Pasadena and he creates meals that are tasty and well-presented. Our staff dietician ensures the menu provides optimal nutrition for our active guests.
Our van transports residents to medical appointments three days a week. On the other two days, we use it to shuttle groups to local casinos, shopping centers and churches, depending on the time of year and mood of the residents. Our downtown location makes transportation to most places quick and easy.
Housekeeping staff clean the apartments once a week and do a deep-cleaning every 6 months, which includes a carpet shampoo. There are laundry machines on every floor for residents to use on their own, or we can take care of it. Just let us know what you would prefer!
Our licensed cosmetologist runs a full-service salon. She is around most afternoons for a trim, a cut or a color. She can also do other services, like nails or make-up, upon request.
We have caregivers on-site 24 hours a day to help residents with bathing, grooming, taking medications and eating. Our caregivers love their jobs and find fulfillment in meeting the needs of our residents. They go out of their way to make our residents feel comfortable, cared for and safe.
Our full-time activity staff provides many opportunities for residents to be engaged and entertained throughout each day. They lead cooking classes, offer exercise activities, and play games with groups of residents.
We also have musicians, lecturers and religious groups visit on a weekly basis to entertain, engage and enlighten.
In the two spacious common areas we have gigantic televisions for group sports and movie watching. There you will find Netflix, 48 channels of DirecTV and a large selection of movies to suit every taste and interest.
Within two blocks of our front door sits the historic Mission Inn and all the shopping and restaurants that surround it. We are close enough for you to pop in on your lunch break and take Mom or Dad out for a quick bite and be back to your day without missing a beat.
Twice a week on the next block over, a farmer’s market takes over the street with fresh vegetables and fruits, homemade bread and hummus, and wine from grapes grown here in southern California.
Local senior community centers, as well as activities that appeal to seniors like lawn bowling, museums, a library, and the Silver Swimmer Club, abound within a few blocks. We drop off and pick up!
Twice a week residents load into the van and head off to nearby shopping, casinos or parks. Favorites stops include Tyler Mall, San Manuel Indian Casino, Costco and other shops in Moreno Valley, Fairmont Park in Riverside and local movie theaters.
