Reopened in 2013, Sunset Gardens is a boutique, thirteen-bed care home, located in a quiet, residential setting in San Francisco’s Outer Sunset District. Administered by a gerontologist with more than a quarter-century of experience devoted to caring for seniors, we embrace the values of upholding the respect and dignity of every resident. Our compassionate caregivers provide personal assistance with activities of daily living, as well as opportunities for physical and intellectual stimulation, all in a warm and welcoming environment.
Nestled in a quiet, Sunset District neighborhood, Sunset Gardens sits on a rare double lot, affording plenty of room for gardens, a patio and walking areas. A warm and inviting Mediterranean atmosphere greets guests and residents, and is matched by the loving care of the staff. Enticing aromas from the kitchen remind residents that a home cooked meal awaits.
Sunset Gardens is situated between Irving and Judah streets, making it convenient for guests and families to visit nearby restaurants and shops, as well as take advantage of public transportation. The seven bedroom, three and one-half bathroom home boasts a large dining and living room, as well as a sun / exercise room. With windows on all four sides of the home, Sunset Gardens is gently illuminated by natural light throughout the day.
The staff of Sunset Gardens are personally trained and overseen by Katie Eiseman, who has twenty-five years of experience caring for seniors, and has held an active RCFE administrator’s license since 1993. Each of Sunset Gardens’ caregivers has established her or himself as exceptionally caring, uniquely attentive and uncommonly considerate. Sunset Gardens prides itself as a kind and loving home, where residents can feel safe and cared for.
The residents of Sunset Gardens engage in many social activities, including games, exercise and meals together. Holidays are always a time of special celebration, and birthdays in particular are always recognized. Each resident of Sunset Gardens has his or her own individual care plan, which covers overall health, dietary needs, personal hygiene, social needs and medicine regimen. In most cases, the health of a new resident improves soon after their arrival at Sunset Gardens.
