Almost Like Home is a magnificent assisted living community in Arvada, Colorado. It is within appealing Jefferson County which is part of the Centennial State.

Our residential settings and caring staff help to minimize the confusion often experienced in large facilities. Our neighborhood of homes in Arvada (Denver metro) provides a social community for the residents, and a greater number of caregivers than typical residential care.

At Almost Like Home, we are committed to providing quality memory care in a residential setting to those with Alzheimer's disease, dementia or other types of cognitive impairments. We believe a smaller home-like setting is often the best solution for someone with increasing memory loss. This environment minimizes confusion and gives the resident a sense of familiarity. We excel in providing consistent on-site 24 hour care by a staff that receives extensive and continuous training on the challenges facing those with Alzheimer’s or dementia.

To better serve our residents and their families, we regularly seek out new information on Alzheimer’s disease and dementia from leading research hospitals and medical professionals. The knowledge we gain is then incorporated into our care program. Our small setting in Arvada (close to Denver) allows our staff to know each resident personally and develop the best possible individualized care. Residents also experience a consistent daily routine of life that includes family-style dining, snacks, activities and the general flow of household activities. Holidays and our residents' birthdays are celebrated as an extended family and family members are encouraged to join us.

Our staff coordinates house visits from doctors, RNs, therapists and hospice providers, and will update family members with information or concerns. Almost Like Home offers the advantages of a small setting, with the benefits of a larger community. Residents receive personalized care in a family atmosphere in each home. Our campus of homes allows for a larger social community and a more desirable staff to resident ratio.
