at the Claire we have a lot of different life enrichment opportunities anything from a large-scale event such as a fitness class an ongoing continued learning lecture a fine arts performance down to smaller groups like book clubs or computer clubs it's our important mission here to provide opportunities for residents to engage in activities that really promote a holistic sense of well-being so that they can live their best lives I think the general sense that you get is a sense of community everyone is connected but also thriving it in their own individual way as well it's important to have programming that integrates all areas of wellness not only so that you're meeting different interest needs but also so that there's opportunity for residents to learn something new try something new or explore new areas of their life for fitness and staying active the Claire has an on-site exercise physiologist she's here full-time and she oversees the Athletic Center as well as coordinates all of our group fitness classes and conducts individual assessments and appointments all the dimensions of wellness are connected feeling good is an important part of being well
