NorthPointe Terrace is an assisted living complex owned by Beloit Memorial Hospital and is the first of its kind in the Roscoe area. This assisted living facility, which overlooks beautiful rolling hills and natural woodlands, is designed for those who want to live independently, but need some level of support in order to do so. You will enjoy 24-hour supervision and assistance if needed, a wellness program, beauty salon, and lending libraries. NorthPointe Terrace opened in January 2007. Later in the year, NorthPointe Health and Wellness Campus will open its doors and offer a new, medical-based fitness center with warm water therapy pool, and quality medical professionals for primary or emergency care.
NorthPointe Terrace staff is committed to maximizing the quality of life of each resident. Personal interactions between staff and residents are viewed as precious opportunities to enhance the living experience of the senior residents at NorthPointe Terrace. Our staff has diverse educational and experiential backgrounds in the areas of healthcare administration, gerontology, nursing, medication management, recreational therapy, marketing, business, food service, environmental operations, and many others. Personal caregivers are required to be Certified Nursing Assistants with extensive experience in senior care. They also receive thorough training in the areas of assisted living, medication management, and customer service principles.
Staff work collaboratively with the residents and their family to provide assistance with any personal needs. They are on duty 24 hours a day. Additionally, the facility has several registered nurses on staff and on call. There is always a nurse supervisor available through a call system arranged with Beloit Memorial Hospital. Facility staff work closely with the resident’s physician, pharmacist, and other healthcare providers to ensure a multidisciplinary, comprehensive approach to care.
