We also organize our own outings for residents. Our close-knit community is nestled in the natural beauty of Moultrie County and we’re only a 10-minute drive from Lake Shelbyville via handicap accessible vehicles. We love taking residents on an afternoon outing to this gorgeous scenic lake for picnics and a little Vitamin D therapy. And it never fails; a day at the lake puts us all in the mood for some ice cream, so we usually stop and get a cone from Dairy Delights on the way home.
If your loved one is more of a live-theater person, we also offer discounted tickets to Sullivan’s Little Theater on the Square. It’s safe to say, there’s plenty to do in Sullivan and our residents are always eager to experience this quaint town.
