Rooks Co. Senior Services was built in 1964 and was licensed to provide nursing care to 52 residents. At the time, the organization was called Rooks Co. Home and it was owned and operated under the auspices of the Rooks County Commissioners.
In 2006, the County converted the Nursing home to a not-for-profit corporation under the IRS code 501(c)(3)and renamed the organization to Rooks Co. Senior Services. The 501(c)(3) IRS status allows an organization to be eligible to receive grants and donations to help fund the organization's programs and services. The County still retains ownership of the building and major assets and has a lease arrangement with the non-profit corporation to manage the program and services. The County still provides maintenance and upkeep to the buildings.
More recently Rooks Co. Senior Services has re-titled the organization to Redbud Village with the nurisng home to be called Redbud Village and the new assisted living to be called Redbud Estates.
Redbud Village is dedicated to providing quality care and services to residents who are in need of 24-hour nursing care.

Redbud Estates is licensed as a 12 bed, Assisted Living residence specifically designed for elders who need some assistance with daily living, but do not need around the clock nursing care. We will provide 24- hour round the clock staffing that is tailored to the individual needs of each resident. A comprehensive assessment prior to admission will help us to determine the appropriate level of support to best meet your needs. It is our goal to help you maintain your independence and freedom of choices as you desire.
