The Independent Plan at Connemara is a perfect solution for seniors who wish to maintain an active lifestyle in a safe, secure environment. We offer residents and their families peace of mind through features like 24-hour reception/security desk coverage, on-site maintenance staff, and secure garage parking. Our basic independent living program includes monthly accommodation fees for one of our clean, spacious apartment units, equipped with an emergency response system. All utilities are included, with the exception of cable television.

Our assisted living program offers several service plans to give our seniors the precise support they need with daily tasks and personal care. Each resident’s service plan is determined by an initial evaluation upon admission to Connemara. A reassessment happens after the first thirty days, ensuring that proper measures are in place to allow residents to safely maintain as much freedom as possible for as long as possible. In addition, ongoing assessments are performed every six months or as needed.

Each service plan has a specific allocation of time during which the resident receives assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs). All assisted living service plans include:

• Three home-cooked meals daily
• Weekly housekeeping
• Weekly linen change with resident’s linens
• Transportation to and from shopping trips and other outings
• Secure covered parking
• 24-hour reception/security desk coverage
• An on-site maintenance team
• A clean, spacious apartment with all utilities included, except cable television.
• An in-apartment emergency response system and Wanderguard system
• Escort services to meals and activities on-site, as needed or requested
• A specific allotment of staff assistance with ADLs such as dressing, bathing, and medication management

Our memory care program provides seniors  with Alzheimer’s, Vascular or Lewy Body Dementia, and other memory impairments with compassionate care to promote dignity and safety.
