I feel connected in a personal way with people who have only a kind of Professional Responsibility to me but it's more than that I think for them I think it's also personal and that's lovely I think the first thing that got that reached me with it was actually the beauty of it for the first time in our lives we tried to make a decision that was a smart decision not just because we wanted to do it and we realized it was getting harder and harder we lived in Vermont shoveling snow taking care of the grounds things like that and we have a daughter in Northampton so we came down here and looked at different facilities and this was the only one we really liked I think there's very strong sense of community it shows itself in different ways at the very beginning when you pass somebody you speak we speak and we are spoken back to it's a it's been very difficult for me to remember names but I know I'm getting more and more and more names as months go by but I've made connections far beyond the names at this point I found recently I'm sharing more of myself on these first-time meetings with people than I would have expected that's been lovely very nice it's a very rich place and then got all the time we got to kind of explore this place that it's always you we've made a couple of friends that I know are gonna just get closer and closer in our lives as our lives unfold our grandchildren really love to come over and be with us here they love the pool and interestingly enough love to go eat well the first time that we told them no we're not going to eat over there tonight I'm gonna cook dinner the littlest one started crying he said everything the dining room is lovely and the staff are adorable the staff I can't say good enough things about the staff all the waiters and waitresses are so sweet and accommodating and never is there a friend well twice a day we walk we bake a big circuit around the whole place and it's lovely I mean we've seen snow and ice and apple blossoms and pear blossoms and it's been just beautiful it's a really nice way to walk the animals in the morning nice way to walk us in the morning well I think what would help somebody make up their mind about whether or not to live here would be talking to people everybody that I've met is very pleased and happy to talk to you about Loomis village and about their life and that's the best way to find out if this is a place you would like to be come and look come and talk to people
