We have a very active social program that includes bingo, our B-Fit exercise program, movie nights in our on-site theater, discussions about food, crafts, games, Bible studies, Gift of Torah discussions, karaoke, art shows, lobby socials and at least six concerts are held at our community every month.

You ll find plenty of home-like common space to spend time with friends and family, whether it s in the spacious fireside family room where one of our three pianos is located, the well-stocked library or any of the many common areas located throughout our home. A sunroom has floor-to-ceiling windows and opens onto our outside courtyard. This is often the location for both our Shabbat and Catholic services. Enjoy being outdoors? We know that moving into a new apartment is challenging; that s why we re here to help. Your first choice is to decide which apartment, of the seven floor plans, best suits your needs. All have large windows that let in ample natural light. We also offer friendship suites where two residents, who either don t want to live alone or wish to save on rent, can share accommodations. You are encouraged to bring your own furnishings, photos and treasured keepsakes to decorate your apartment in your unmistakable style. However, we can always provide furniture, if you wish.
Several day excursions are planned each week that include shopping trips, outings to nearby parks, visits to the Hillwood Museum, the Textile Museum, The National Gallery, Smithsonian, the Air and Space Museum and the Women s Art Museum. We also attend concerts at Strathsmore Concert Hall.

Maybe you ll find them at a tea social, nuzzling with a pet therapy dog or attending movie nights. They re having fun, yes.
