As the only Jewish-owned and operated assisted-living home in Montgomery County, MD, Eden Kosher Homes offers a comfortable lifestyle in a Jewish environment with kosher meals prepared by an on-staff chef. Shabbat and all Jewish holidays are observed in the traditional manner.
Eden Kosher Homes opened its doors in 2010 in response to the need for a small, high-quality kosher assisted living facility where Jewish seniors could remain active in a neighborhood environment. Staffed with loving and dedicated professionals, our residents enjoy the benefits of a small group living with 24 hours-supervised care. We have a high staff to resident ratio which enables us to meet the needs of our residents.
Services & Amenities
- A fully furnished private bedroom with a shared bathroom. Residents are welcome to bring their own furniture.
- All kosher meals, afternoon tea and snacks prepared by a kosher chef. Our meals emphasize fresh seasonal ingredients. Dietary restrictions and personal preferences are accommodated.
- Two visitor meals per month.
- Shabbat and festival celebrations.
- Prescriptions and over-the-counter medications administered by our trained staff and supervised by a licensed Registered Nurse (RN).
- Twenty-four hour supervision by our professional staff. Assistance with all activities of daily living, including dressing, bathing and personal hygiene. Our staff ratio ensures responsive and personal attention.
- Daily housekeeping, clean linens and personal laundry.
- Daily activities and programs to ensure every resident is stimulated, active and engaged. Activities include discussion groups, daily exercise classes, newspaper and current event discussions, films, baking, music and art.
