Resident’s of our homes have their own private bedroom with shared access to common living areas. Our home care agency is licensed by the state of Minnesota as a comprehensive home care provider. This allows us to provide the same services as the big assisted living facilities but in a more intimate environment. Our homes are staffed 24/7 with exemplary caregivers ready to assist your loved one with their individual needs.

Transitions out of a lifelong home can be very difficult for all involved. Often times, the burden lies on family to decide which location to move their parent or loved one. This process can be filled with anxiety, sadness and guilt; wondering if they have chosen the right location and if their loved one is getting the care and attention they deserve. Simply put, the caregivers. We believe caregiving should not just be a job, it should be a passion. For this reason, we are very selective in our hiring process. We seek out only individuals who share our passion for caregiving. Another difference is our belief in the importance of intergenerational interactions. Studies have shown the effectiveness of these interactions on improving overall happiness and quality of life in seniors. At Family Tree Care Homes we have weekly interactions with children and our results have been amazing.

Our staff is expertly trained in caring for residents with memory impairments associated with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia. As dementia progresses, the need for patient specific care increases. To meet our resident’s needs, we offer unmatched staffing ratios. Doing this enables our caregivers the time they need to get to know and provide exceptional and personalized care to our residents.

Our staff is trained to provide assistance with daily activities (dressing, grooming, toileting, showering, walking and transferring) for our residents affected by a wide variety of medical conditions.

Our homes are overseen by a registered nurse who is available 24/7 for staff or residents with questions or concerns. In 2018, we proudly partnered with Bluestone Physicians Services. Residents of our home will be seen monthly by a Geriatric MD in the comfort of “their” home. This service decreases the stress of transportation to and from clinics and allows a closer monitoring of your loved one’s health, preventing unnecessary ER and hospital visits.

As life goes, we all enjoy different activities for recreation. We strongly believe in customized recreational plans. Through information gathered from our residents, family and friends, we create individualized daily activities to provide a more meaningful experience. Whether it’s a community outing, scenic drive, gardening or something as simple as reminiscing over a cup of coffee or tea. Our superior staffing ratios allow us the ability and flexibility to provide such interactions.
