Advance Assisted Living is a charming assisted living community in Advance, Missouri. It is within astounding Stoddard County which is part of the Show Me State.
Advance Assisted Living is an alternative to those who need some assistance within a supervised setting but don't need skilled long term care yet. We offer peace of mind for the residents and family members. Our facility opened in 2012 and has been very well maintained and cared for. Our location is perfect for residents throughout Southeast Missouri. We are a short drive from Dexter, Jackson, Cape Girardeau and Sikeston.
Our staff is dedicated to ensuring an environment of love, respect and security for every resident. We encourage residents to remain as independent as possible by supporting their mental, spiritual and physical well-being. We strive to offer a home-like environment where residents receive assistance when they need or want it, while ensuring that their rights are always protected. We take a personal interest in each and every resident.
Inside the suites, you will find a kitchenette with a designated space for a microwave and compact refrigerator. They have a double sink along with plenty of cabinets and counter space, and room for a dinette set. We provide cable television and local telephone service hook-ups. The suites have individual heat and air so that residents can control the temperature themselves. Each room in the suite, including the bathroom, has an emergency call system to easily alert staff in the event that assistance is needed.

Residents may also keep a small refrigerator and/or microwave in their room.
Our Food Service
We have full-time dietary staff who provide 3 well-balanced meals per day, 7-days per week, including an evening snack. We also welcome special orders as we understand that there are cases where our regular menu that day may not satisfy every resident. Additionally, we have a registered dietician that visits and monitors all residents.
Beauty Shop
Our beauty shop is licensed through the State Board of Cosmetology. The beautician works two to three days per week doing cuts, sets, colors and perms. We also offer men’s haircuts.
Therapy Room
We offer in house and out patient rehab which includes physical, occupational and speech therapy.
Activities
Our residents usually never have a shortage of things to do! Our activity director ensures the residents a variety of activities. Among these includes several different church services and singings, visits from different organizations out of Cape Girardeau and surrounding area, small outings, shopping trips, exercise time, bingo, playing cards, crafts, puzzles and various other games with individual prizes.
Housekeeping & Maintenance
With on-site housekeeping and maintenance, we ensure our residents worry-free living. We also provide on-site laundry with individualized services.
Medical
We have an LPN on staff 8 hours per day 5 days a week and on call full-time. Certified medication aides are on staff to give all medications and insulin. The nursing staff, all CPR/first-aid trained, monitor all vital signs, treatments, dressing changes, injections, lab tests, etc. Our staff also assist with showers as needed. We have a physician, psychiatrist and podiatrist who visit the facility on a regular basis. All labs and x-rays can be done in house. Hospice and home-health services are also available.
