You are free to live a self-sufficient life, and we encourage our residents to be as independent as possible. You can still work, volunteer in the community, visit friends and family and then come home and have your dinner served restaurant- style or delivered to your suite.

There is a place for you here whether you are a man, woman, couple, introverted or extroverted. Socialization is extremely important to your mental health. It couldn’t be more true as you age and notice you may have fewer friends or family around you. So, it is important to us that we get to know our residents and
surround them with friends, activities, and entertainment they enjoy most.

Arranged in a unique neighborhood setting, each of our six cottages will serve a specific population of residents. This means that residents will be assessed and placed in one of the six cottages based upon their cognitive level of functioning and social skills.

This ensures that each resident has the greatest opportunity for a successful adjustment to their new home and a higher quality of life interacting with others that are functioning on a similar cognitive level. Cottage programming, care planning, staffing, and structure is geared towards those residents who need more guidance than what Assisted Living provides.

The cottages are free from long hallways and nurses’ stations; offering the resident free movement around the house and encourages residents to engage in familiar household tasks. The innovative design is to de-institutionalize senior living and enrich the lives of those with memory impairment. The unique design, however, serves our original purpose and the future safety of our residents.

Our residents should feel like they are family when they open the front door to smiling faces and attentive staff. We truly are welcoming them home.

We proudly offer flexible, Short-Term Stays that allow your loved one to experience all of the benefits of residency without feeling like they must make a long-term commitment.

Short-term stays are a perfect way to:

• Provide a primary caregiver a break or a trip out of town. Let us take care of your
• loved one 24/7 while you take time to take care of business and yourself.
• Simply “try us out”. Some seniors need the opportunity to determine if our community is the right fit for them before moving their personal items and calling us “home.”
• Transition for healing. Assistance is needed after a hospital stay and your loved one needs meals prepared, medication administered, and assistance with daily living while they are recuperating.
