Because it is important to us that you and your loved one feel at home at LiveWell, all of our homes are actual homes in real neighborhoods. And just like home, you are welcome at any time!
LiveWell’s care philosophy embraces aging as a unique and precious opportunity in one’s life for discovery, growth and restorative activities, not a time for idleness, decline, and despair. Our custom-designed care programs build on the unique moments of each individual’s daily life from which we foster an environment where each day is filled with encouragement, achievement, and well-being.
With an extensive network of clients whose individual care needs range from moderate assisted living support to advance stage memory care, LiveWell is uniquely qualified to design and, as needed, redesign older adult care programs that nurture the mind, body, and spirit. In addition to providing housekeeping, grooming, and transportation support, examples of the type of constructive activities that we coordinate for our clients include gardening, photography, creative writing, visiting artists and lecturers, dance and fitness, pet therapy, music therapy, children visits, community service, and religious services. Not only do we offer care services in our own communities, but with our in-home care services, your loved one can receive quality care in the comfort of their own home!
LiveWell offers concierge-style assisted living communities, featuring 24/7 on-site staff support. LiveWell’s lifestyle-driven care model is designed to meet each individual resident where ever they are on the spectrum of assisted living need and evolve, as needed, to maximize each individual’s sense of independence. Assisted living at LiveWell is an ideal option for active older adults who are life-long learners who seek a stimulating environment within a close-knit community.
LiveWell rejects the notion of relocating older adults based solely on age and, instead, embraces an ideology of more naturally occurring communities where residents of all ages are welcomed. To this end, locations for LiveWell’s assisted living homes are intentionally selected to maximize each resident’s quality of life, cultural affinity and connection to a specific community.
Rather than the more sedentary concept of “Aging in Place”, LiveWell believes in a more proactive assisted living model that is committed to creating environments where residents are provided with tools, so that they are continually “Thriving In Place”
LiveWell’s award-winning memory care programs are created by an experienced, licensed team of Alzheimer professionals. In particular, our structured, individualized care plans (which are based on familiar interests and personal strengths), have shown to reduce many of the memory care associated behavioral symptoms, such as agitation, anger, frustration, depression, wandering and rummaging.
LiveWell’s dementia care residents engage in therapeutic activities that cue them to old and recent memories, maximizing their current skills and minimizing the impact of skills that may be compromised. Our programs are intentionally designed to bring out each resident’s existing skills, memories and habits, and encourage friendship, mutual support and connectedness.
To establish and maintain a sense of stability for our residents, our memory care team collaborates with each resident to ensure that care plan activities are done regularly and occur at the same time every day. One of the important keys to LiveWell’s memory care management success is our 1:3 staff to resident ratio (1 staff member for every 3 residents), a ratio that is well below the state’s memory care requirement of 1:8. Our low staffing ratio ensures that your loved one receives the personal care, encouragement and support they need to live the fullest live possible in one of our beautiful homes.
