When making the decision to find a place to care for your elderly loved one, we understand that no one takes that decision lightly. You want to be sure they receive the right level of care, and can continue aging in place for as long as possible. Assisted Living Programs and Facilities in New York State are designed specifically to help individuals choose the place that they reside. These programs are very important to the community as they allow seniors to reside in a safe and supportive environment, while preventing an unnecessary early discharge to a nursing home or other more advanced facility. We are very proud to offer an extremely comprehensive Assisted Living Program right here at Ransomville Manor.
Our Assisted Living Facility offers a great number of benefits to residents. It is a environment much less restrictive than a more intensive facility such as a nursing home, which improves quality of life. This is a Medicaid program with no additional cost to the resident.
There are a wide variety of program-specific benefits within our program. Each resident receives an individualized care plan, to be sure that the level of care and attention they are getting is adequate, and that their stay will be as long and as safe as possible. Our on-site Home Health Aides are extensively trained and will provide consistent care and support. We have a fully integrated call-bell system for our resident's convenience, as well as a sprinkler fire emergency system in every room for safety. We offer case management support to each of our residents as well, and our Director of Patient Services is a Registered Nurse (RN).
