Austinwoods’ brand new rehabilitation center is now open and accepting patients! Featuring all private suites, with private bath and shower, and hotel-like amenities, Austinwoods rehab center is dedicated to helping patients regain mobility, balance and independence while providing the utmost in privacy. Our new rehab center focuses on the specific needs of those recovering from surgery, illness, injury and medical procedure. Austinwoods’ dedicated team of therapists work closely with you and your doctor to reach your personalized therapy goals.

Woodlands Assisted Living at Austinwoods opened in the spring for 2019 and is now accepting referrals! Our assisted living features private studio suites with private bath and shower. Our daily rate includes all three meals, housekeeping and laundry services. Round the clock caregivers and in-suite safety features provide peace of mind for you and your loved one.

The primary goal of short-term rehab is to help each patient live as independently as possible. Our rehab team includes physical, occupational, and speech therapists. Therapies are available seven days a week in one of the largest gyms in the area, complete with state-of-the-art equipment. Vital stimulation is also available for those patients with dysphagia, or difficulty in swallowing. Each rehab plan is tailored to meet the individual needs of the patient.

Our therapists will schedule a home safety evaluation prior to your discharge to make sure your needs are properly met. If you require home healthcare, medical equipment, or safety features added to your home, we will help make the arrangements. Our rehab units off spacious private rooms that are decorated to provide a tranquil environment as you recover.

Woodlands Assisted Living suites feature several distinctive layouts, with private bathrooms and kitchenettes that include refrigerator, microwave, sink and generous kitchen cabinet storage. Woodlands suites feature stain-resistant carpeting, custom-made window treatments, individual temperature controls for heat and air conditioning; free cable TV, local phone service and wireless internet access. Each suite also has a locked, private entrance.

The professional nursing staff at Woodlands provide IV therapy, wound care and pain management. The nurses are committed to assisting each resident in reaching and maintaining the utmost level of independence. They will make sure you understand your medications and any treatments before you are discharged, as quality medical care and resident satisfaction are Woodlands goals.

Respite care is available for any caregiver who needs time off for family events, vacation or just to rest. Our Admissions Department will assist you through this process. Respite care services are available to suit your needs; whether it’s a few days or a few weeks, these programs are designed to provide care and companionship for frail and disabled persons who need assistance or supervision during the day.
