Founded in 1951, serving only Eastern Star members, and offering skilled nursing care in the 6 cottages which now serve as part of our Independent Living apartments. We soon purchased additional land increasing our acreage to 60 beautiful rolling acres and built more rooms to meet the health care needs of the local elders. In the 1990’s The Ohio Eastern Star Home opened its doors to all of Knox county and surrounding residents in addition to those who were members of Eastern Star. We are proud of our outstanding reputation of providing the most excellent health care in our area for over a half of century and making The Ohio Eastern Star Home a wonderful place for each person who chooses live here.

we start our tour at the entrance to our health care neighborhoods as we enter we will find our first neighborhood the four neighborhoods are identical in layout but each boast its own identity with a warm color palette and beautiful decor just beyond the doors is the comfortable living room with a fireplace and TV just beyond that we see the dining room where residents can dine together while enjoying homemade meals these areas are designed to create fellowship with family and friends just off the dining room there is a self-serve kitchen in addition we staff culinary experts to create meals in our professional-grade kitchen each resident has their own private room with personal bathroom and shower there is also a luxurious spa in each neighborhood as well as a lounge and an inviting sunroom the amenities continue outdoors with multiple covered porches patios and courtyards surrounded by beautiful gardens located in between the neighborhoods we hope you've enjoyed a quick look around our health care neighborhoods thank you for joining us on our tour [Music]
