I just want to thank you for taking well obviously at 11 years old I really didn't care and didn't really realize what everything as a matter of fact they didn't know until we had the 70th anniversary celebration that my father signed the Articles of Incorporation I had no idea it started in 1983 when I was hired on as a maintenance director or supervisor and over the years that changed while I was eventually in charge of the laundry and housekeeping as well as maintenance so they called me the environmental services director and then later on they did hire someone else to do the laundry and main laundry and housekeeping and then I became that what they call the director of plant operations well I'm assuming if he was the treasurer but I don't know that to be true but on a Friday afternoon after three o'clock because banks closed on three o'clock on Fridays he came home with a shoebox full of cash and I don't know for sure how much it was but it was a shoebox full of cash which was more money than any of us had ever seen together at one time and he was just frightened to death that he had all this cash in the house and he hardly slept all weekend until he could get that down to the bank on Monday that left an indelible member in my my life yeah it was right at the beginning of my employment the lady that was charged of the activities came to me and asked me if I would do something for her they heard my voice and they knew that my voice would be a really good so they had just bought a Santa Claus suit and asked me if I would wear it so I said yes I'll do that no that little did I know that I'm still doing that job today every year dress up on that uncomfortable hot suit and Oh Ellen hohoho and give everybody a cheerful that's an interesting question I I'm not quite sure how to to do that when when it started I I know for sure that no one in the starting group of people could ever envision what it's turned out to be I mean this has grown by leaps and bounds like you would never believe and I don't think that any of our forefathers when they started this had any idea that it was going to turn out like this but it's been a tremendous mission for this community I think it was one of the best things that they did you you
