dear Joan I recently moved to avamere at medford a senior living community in Medford Oregon I made the move because it was important to me that my children would not have to worry about my care especially as I need it more often the Senior Living campus has five progressive levels of care which means if I become ill they can still take care of me right here and I don't have to move from place to place when I first pulled in I could see the campus was well cared for I had the choice of a studio one or two bedroom apartment I chose the one bedroom apartment I brought my own furniture to make it feel more like home the apartment has a kitchenette heating and air conditioning they even do housekeeping for me once a week would you believe I eat just like I'm at a restaurant every day right here on campus we can order from the menu whenever we want and they have a beautiful salad bar that's always filled you know how I like to eat last week I had the whole family here we enjoyed a lunch in the private dining room I've made some great friends with the other people living here we spend time playing cards or just chatting and there are lots of other fun activities to choose from they have a beauty salon and would you believe a massage therapist on campus they have full-time drivers who can take me where I need to go it is such a blessing not to have to worry about driving Sara suggested I try out the on-site health and fitness center and boy do I love the pool I always feel revitalized after spending time in the pool they have developed a comfortable atmosphere it's for people aged 40 plus I usually end my health and fitness workouts at the Bistro to wind down and relax as you know I had hip surgery a few months ago I came back to this campus from the hospital and had my skilled nursing care and therapy right here they have terrific therapy that got me back on my feet very quickly now if i ever need care again i'm literally within walking distance of my apartment my daughter was just telling me the other day how impressed she is with the personal care i receive i've become good friends with the woman who lives in residential care with me her husband needs a lot more attention so he lives at the assisted living facility next door she loves it because she can just walk down the hall and visit her husband every day well Joan it's time for dinner please come for a visit next week I'd love to give you a tour of my new home with avamere at Medford your life is our commitment call us and schedule a personal tour of our campus and our independent living community residential care community or our skilled nursing community to see for yourself the many benefits to be found with avamere at medford
