We care for seniors at our home in a family style setting. All meals, laundry, and medication management is done by us. All you have to do is enjoy life.

Caring for a spouse, parent or loved one with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia or memory loss is a daunting task and requires special dedication to embark each day with a positive perspective, patience, and compassion. Often these conditions require caregivers to seek additional assistance and support to ensure the well-being of loved ones.

Autumn Garden Home has a history of caring for residents with memory loss since the 1980’s. Autumn Garden home is a family based memory center which is designed and feels like a home to our 10 residents and is in a residential neighborhood. Our home has a team of direct care staff and personnel with special training for memory care, who provide exceptional care and treat each resident like family.Residents can bring their own furniture and belongings to make their unit feel like home. Large windows offer natural light and spectacular views of the surrounding botanicals. Enclosed courtyards with paved circular pathway and patios, provide a safe, secure environment where residents can enjoy the outdoors. We have a memory garden specially planted with a variety of vegetable and edible fruits, flowers and shrubs.Through smell which is the strongest facilitator of remembering, the goal of the Autumn Garden to provide residents with an opportunity to plant and care for flowers and vegetables that are aromatic and can bring so much pleasure and help recall memories of other gardens and people with whom they have shared experiences. Families have peace of mind knowing that their loved ones are receiving the best care possible at Autumn Garden Home.

At our home, we prepare fresh home style meals with ingredients from scratch. Our cuisine is rich in vegetarian style dishes and salads, and we also serve healthy meats. Pizza parties and ice cream socials are the exceptions. We have a full vegetable and flower garden with which everyone participants.. Other activities include music, arts & crafts, board games and a theater.

For many elderly people, meals are the best part of the day. We try to make each meal savoring and satisfying as well as healthy. Well balanced selections brought by several cooks bring variety and delight.

Arts and Crafts intended to offer opportunity for involvement for residents of all skill level. Residents are involved in nostalgic letter writing, post card sending as well as painting and other crafts.
