Willson House Residential Care is an angelic assisted living community in Salem, Oregon. It is within bustling Marion County which is part of the Beaver State.
Willson House Residential Care Facility has 50 apartments which are licensed by the State of Oregon's Senior and Disabled Services Division. Similar to assisted living facilities, Willson House serves seniors who may need more assistance in their daily living activities. Staff provide residents the support services necessary for them to remain as independent as possible. Winners of a national award for innovative housing programs, and a state-wide award for dining services, Willson House embraces the "Aging in Place" philosophy which allows residents to receive services without having to relocate to a more expensive care center.
Residential Care (similar to Assisted Living) supports the concept of aging in place and provides assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) for elderly individuals in a home-like environment. The Willson House environment recognizes the dignity, independence, individuality, privacy, choice, and decision-making ability of each resident. We promote resident self-direction and participation in decisions that emphasize choice. Willson House is open to all, without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, handicap, familial status, or national origin.
