Legacy Place Cottages in Allentown, Pennsylvania, was developed by Jehovah’s Witnesses to serve Jehovah’s Witnesses. Our Personal Care and Memory Care households provide a loving and secure environment where fellow believers can share spiritual values, live by Bible principles, and receive the highest quality of care. It is truly the answer for which many have searched.
The environment was inspired by Jah Jireh Charity Homes, located in Great Britain, where loving care has been provided for over thirty years. Similar homes are located in the Czech Republic, Poland, the Netherlands, Canada and South Korea.
Legacy Place Cottages is a safe and nurturing home for aging Witnesses who may not be able to live independently, but still desire to remain true to their faith. Living at a personal care community like Legacy Place Cottages allows them to receive the care they need and pursue the lifestyle they desire.
Our cottages are designed to feel like a home. They are centered on a beautiful hearth that promotes a warm and inviting environment. Nearby is an open kitchen, den/library, and private rooms, each with its own bathroom. The small scale and single-level design eliminate stairs, long hallways, and elevators.
Our rooms range in size from 345-575 square feet and include a private bathroom and a walk-in shower. All of the rooms in our Personal Care building include a small kitchenette. There are rooms designed for double occupancy if a resident has a spouse or would prefer having a roommate. Each room has a beautiful view of the well-maintained grounds and gardens. The homes have spacious porches where residents can sit to enjoy time outdoors.
