Currently, our 56 acre campus has 124 residential living cottages, 79 personal care suites, and 160 skilled nursing beds.

[Music] we were looking around for different communities where aunt Sara might be placed and of course it's when you're very close to your family you want to find the very best facilities that you can that's going to take care of her I can't say enough about the caring that was given to her during her time and attention to the family which was so important to help us cope with our aunts illness I would recommend valley view community to any family who had a care about their loved ones I wanted to be sure that they were going to be as comfortable as possible during the last times of their life we didn't even look around at different communities because we had such an experience with valley view that that was the first thought the process of moving in here was made very very smooth by the staff the administrative staff at Valley View they counseled us and helped us every step along the way we are very very happy here and I would recommend valid you community and particularly their cottages for any family who has reached the stage in their life where they want to sit their way to live one of the nice parts of moving here is I feel very very safe here when my husband is called out for disasters very comfortable in knowing that this is a well cared for area and I have a lot of frontline neighbors who could watch over me [Music]

[Music] we had to take my mother to the emergency room and she wasn't doing very well she had a lot of health issues and they suggested that we go to Valley View for rehab I don't think she ever wanted to go to a home but she knew at that point that her health wasn't the best and that she was not able to be went around at that point she had a room of her own in the rehab section they kept it very well stocked it was very welcoming very warm and friendly when we were there to visit I think that she really liked having that room by herself actually my mother and my father lived in Bell Bell for many years so I think she thought maybe she maybe see some people there she do so that kind of helped with things still so she wasn't doing well health-wise and we knew that really there wasn't going to be much improvement if any they tried to rehab to see just if that would help her with strength but as far as her physical health problems that wasn't going to get any better the staff at Valley View were very very nice they would take her to rehab but they would also offer to do other things for her and tell her about the activities that they offers about the gift shop if she wanted to go to the dining room for meals with everybody I think the staff knew to under the circumstances that the situation wasn't going to get better but they all did the best they could take care of her and meet her needs and whatever she would need she did pass away while she was there it was actually two days after Christmas we got a phone call there was a particular staff that actually when my sister and I got there she said she didn't want to leave my mother alone at that time and she was holding her hand and rubbing it and so we of course thought there then she did excuse herself but I thought that was very very nice of that staff I would recommend them I think under the circumstances she received the very best care that they could give her and I think they did go above and beyond knowing that in the end that's how it was going to result and what happened but they still kept doing the best that they could and giving top-notch care to her
