Description:
Peace of Mind. Foxdale residents share their thoughts about choosing a continuing care retirement community.
Transcript:
don't get the feeling you're moving to an old folks home because you're coming to a vibrant community which has that safety net for future years I have confidence that as I get older it'll be it'll be just fine yeah it's perfect to me I mean we're all probably gonna move on to something more than this I I'd love to just stay right here but knowing it's here and you don't have to do anything except let you guys take care of it yeah I think it's a perfect thing for her people I always knew that I would plan for this period of my life because I don't have much family and and knew that I needed to plan for medical coverage and so on so I always expected to move into a LifeCare community you know I'm very active outside now and many of the people who move here are but you know as your world starts to shrink I think that becomes more and more important I don't have to worry about myself down the road like oh my what's going to happen to me well I know what's going to happen to me so that's uh that's very comforting I'm trying to picture my life without foxdale and it would be so different it would be so stressful I got peace of mind that I never had if they stayed in that older house I could go to bed and know if anything happened that they would be taken care of passing through from retirement living to assisted and or nursing made a lot of sense does it is comforting to know that they're there for us when we need them if people are healthy and are considering this come here when you're healthy and enjoy life and then know that down the road you'll be taken care of we're very happy we made this decision
