Founded on the concept of caring for those in need. Many who walk through our doors have stories to tell of the historic past of this property - once a small town hospital, established in 1933 and founded on the concept of caring for those in need.
Although much has changed in the many years that have passed, the sincerity in caring for those in need has not. We are as committed to our profession as the former owner was to his. We have a staff in which we take great pride. Together we will take every effort in making these years of your life a very special time.
Located in a semi-residential neighborhood, the home-like atmosphere of our residence is immediately apparent, from the lace curtains in the windows to the beautiful wooden and upholstered furnishings. We strive to preserve the original beauty and architecture of the building, and home-like atmosphere that our residents so enjoy, while completing upgrades focused on safety, universal accessibility, and on ease of use.

Universal Services
- 24/7 Coverage – You are never alone. Trained staff members are in the facility twenty-four hours each day/seven days per week, including personal care aids, certified nursing assistants and a nurse is always on-call.
- Housekeeping & Personal Laundry - Daily housekeeping, weekly linen and personal laundry are provided.
- Communal Dining - Three delicious, well balanced meals prepared fresh everyday and served in our elegant dining room.
- Special Needs Diet - We also cater to selective menus for specific dietary needs.
- Healthy Snacks – Healthy refreshments & snacks are served with an assortment of fruit juices & beverages on a daily basis.
- Escorted Transportation - transportation available for doctor appointments, local shopping or salon visits.
Personalized Care Services
- Bathing & Grooming Assistance - Assistance with daily regime of personal hygiene, bathing and grooming.
- Dressing Assistance - Assistance with selecting clothes and dressing.
- Medication and Vitals Monitoring – Staff will monitor locked medications and dosage, provide reminders and distribute mediciations as prescribed by physicians.
- Bathroom - Periodic bathroom reminders and assistance as needed or desired.
- Care Checks - Frequent care checks to assure resident’s safety and comfort.
- Appointments – The staff can assist with scheduling and keeping appointments.
- Correspondence - We can also assist with correspondence with the physician’s office or insurance companies.
- Resources - Provide you with resources and/or referrals needed to make vital decisions.
- Discharge Planning - Our program staff will assist in discharge planning when the resident's needs exceed those appropriate for Personal Care Living.
