Morningstar Assisted Living is a peaceful assisted living community in Rapid City, South Dakota. It is within fetching Pennington County which is part of the Mount Rushmore State.

Morningstar ALC is a family owned and operated Assisted Living Center located in the beautiful South side of Rapid City close to the hospital and medical facilities. We are a small one level 16 bed facility which ensures personalized care.

Each private room has its own half bath. Morningstar is licensed by the State of South Dakota to care for residents with cognitive/physical impairments, and those needing oxygen and medication administration. We are also licensed for Hospice care. Morningstar has its own on site kitchen staff that prepares and serves three meals daily. Snacks are offered between meals and upon request. Salon services are available on-site by a licensed beautician.

Our staff is properly trained to provide care and assistance while maintaining the residents’ dignity and independence. Medications are administered by certified med aids and overseen by a registered nurse. All staff are trained in the care of residents with cognitive and physical impairments, as well as those who require oxygen.
