Lighthouse of Care is a fine assisted living community in Arlington, Texas. It is within impressive Tarrant County which is part of the Lone Star State.
Do you have an independent spirit but find certain daily tasks a little difficult? Does your loved one need an extra hand with regular activities?
Lighthouse Of Care, was formed by a Registered Nurse utilizing a six-bedroom assisted living home for elderly individuals who prefer a home-like atmosphere. We offer round-the-clock assistance, support, security, and safety in a comfortable environment with a family dynamic.
Lighthouse of Care, Inc., was started by a registered nurse with 25 years of experience in overseeing and running nursing schools and programs.
Many years before, she made a promise to her grandmother that when she was no longer able to live in her own home, she would find another "at home" solution. This conceived the idea and creation of an assisted living home in a residential neighborhood without the clinical atmosphere of a larger commercial nursing home. Today, Lighthouse of Care is a top of the line destination for elderly or disabled patrons of Arlington, Texas.
Our resident care is 24 hours of round the clock assistance. Our team strives to maintain a friendly dynamic that keeps our residents at ease.
We provide a full-time staff and various levels of service to best accommodate our residents. Individualized assistance is available and our general care plans include:
Standard Care: Consists of three meals plus snacks, laundry, medication assistance, structured recreation activities, and transportation to and from doctor visits.
Advanced Care: For those who need extra assistance, this service includes Standard Care plus bathing, activities of daily living (ADL's), incontinence care, transportation and managed care (RN collaboration with physicians at doctor visits), wound care, skilled nursing care, and transfer assistance (from bed to wheelchair/wheelchair to bed).
We help each resident be as independent as possible through assistive equipment like electric beds and lifts. Residents also have the option to bring their own furniture or choose a pre-furnished room. The house sits on one acre of land with a beautiful garden view that is perfect for family get-togethers and structured recreation activities such as:
- Puzzles
- Arts & Crafts
- Geriatric Exercise Program
- Games (Cards & Dominoes)
- Music (Karaoke)
- Wi-Fi™
- Cable Television
This isn't some large corporate environment; the staff here genuinely care about our residents and any family that walks through our front door. In fact, our level of care is so accommodating and personalized that our RN will travel to your location if you are unable to bring your loved one to us to assess the needs and provide a free consultation.
