Sedro Trail Assisted Living and Memory Care
Georgetown, TX - Assisted Living, Memory Care
Community size: Medium (11-25)
Sedro Trail Assisted Living & Memory Care is a Licensed Assisted Living Home with Alzheimer's certification, situated on 7 acres, 1 mile from Sun City in Georgetown, Texas. Sedro Trail is the product of a dream to create a special assisted living filled with abundant love and compassion. The owners, Jason & Yvette Hall, are local residents of Georgetown who enjoy serving in the community. Jason is an Occupational Therapist with 15 years' experience in geriatric rehabilitation in home health therapy, nursing home therapy and acute and sub-acute therapy.
Throughout his professional experience, he found that only two options were available for retired individuals who could no longer live at home: large assisted living facilities and nursing homes. Jason discovered that there are many individuals who weren't safe living independently, needed more assistance than could be provided at the large assisted living facilities, yet didn't belong in a nursing home. Where does someone go if they need 24/7 assistance but don't want to live in a nursing home? What are the options for an individual who may need assistance but still enjoys walks in the sun, activities that promote health and wellness and personalized care? Sedro Trail is that answer.
We incorporate a “residential model of care“ at Sedro Trail. What this means is each resident and their families become a part of our loving family. Family members get to know each other and become part of an internal support group. Unlike the large facilities, Sedro Trail Assisted Living has a warm, cozy, comfortable home atmosphere. Situated on 7 beautiful, hill country acres with a large 1 acre back yard, our residents enjoy an active lifestyle indoors and outdoors. Unlike many of the large facilities, we encourage outdoor activities with our residents just like you would enjoy at your own home. We perform a thorough application/interview/training protocol for staff and maintain a 1:3 caregiver to resident ratio at Sedro Trail. What this means for your loved one is extremely skilled, attentive, active and loving care by our staff.
