Our Lady of the Valley is a nonprofit, nondenominational senior living community sponsored by the Catholic Diocese of Richmond. Since 1989, we’ve provided comfortable and affordable senior housing and care for those who call our community home. Our assisted living services are customized for each resident to preserve independence and allow everyone to live life to their fullest potential. Through engaging programs and activities, caring personalized attention, and an un-wavering dedication to excellence and quality service we continue to enhance the lives of our residents.

Maintenance-free living, choice, and style are what you will discover in the senior living apartments within our community. With several floor plan options from which to choose, you are sure to find one that fits your personal style. Each floor plan features an oversized bathroom, several large closets, individually-controlled heating and air conditioning, and emergency call system. All utilities are included in the rent (excluding phone, cable TV, and internet). Wireless internet hot spots are located throughout the community. Many of our assisted living apartments have been updated with a new kitchen nook complete with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, and the bathrooms feature new fixtures.
Our approach to wellness and well-being at Our Lady of the Valley means providing care to our residents on an individual basis, matching services and assistance to each resident to meet his or her physical and emotional needs.
