Alzheimer’s care from our highly-trained, kind & caring staff dedicates each day to engaging activities that enrich the lives of residents with Alzheimer’s disease and other related types of dementia, in the dedicated Memory Care neighborhood at Edgeworth Park. Our residents receive outstanding care from our team of Alzheimer’s care professionals who strive to ensure that each resident is engaged, uplifted and feels a sense of purpose. In order to achieve this, our own, in-house team developed an activity and enrichment program called Discover Memory Lane.

Our philosophy is to create life-affirming experiences for residents of our Memory Care neighborhood. We believe that life does not stop when you receive a memory loss diagnosis. A diagnosis means that a new chapter is beginning and that chapter should be filled with love and experiences.

The Discover Memory Lane program incorporates music, art, cognitive and physical activities into the lives of our residents throughout the day. These activities strive to preserve cognitive abilities while providing a feeling of a sense of accomplishment and individuality.

You can be sure that you or your loved one will receive highly personalized care at Edgeworth Park. We offer 21 apartments that were specifically designed for our memory care residents. The studio apartment suite offers a European-style, fully-tiled, walk-in shower. Each apartment has a custom wardrobe that was built and designed for our Memory Care residents to help them develop a positive routine that aids in their daily quality of life. Each apartment offers a vibrant and modern residential setting to call home that you or your loved one can customize according to your needs. Activities are created specially to interest, engage, and fulfill each individual on a daily basis. This person-centered approach aims to promote well-being; to prolong daily function; and to help residents maintain a sense of purpose, dignity, and satisfaction. In our Memory Care neighborhood, your low monthly fee includes all of the services that make life more manageable and enjoyable. Personal services include:

• Discover Memory Lane – individualized activities and enrichment programming, assistance with activities of daily living, and medication management by Registered Medication Aids
• Three daily meals served family-style in our dining room 
• Complimentary housekeeping, maintenance, laundry services and utilities
• Planned social events and individualized activities 
• Educational, health and wellness programming 
• Scheduled transportation to doctor appointments
• Close proximity to New Town medical professionals, including geriatric, orthopaedic and neurological specialists as well as Urgent Care facilities
